EDIT AND NURTURE LEADS

Edit a lead

  1. Go to Sales > Leads. (In CRM for Outlook, go to Sales > Customers > Leads.)
  2. Choose the lead you want to edit.
  3. Add any extra details you have about your lead.
  4. Choose the Save button on the bottom right of the screen.

Nurturing leads

Every salesperson has their own way of 'nurturing' a lead from "a person I happened to meet at an industry event" to "best customer ever who has booked 23 suites in the past year alone".

Whether your sales process focuses on quarterly lunch meetings, regular phone calls, touching base with contacts by email or another channel, CRM can help you by:

  • Storing accurate contact information and syncing it with Outlook
  • Allowing you to schedule activities (like future contact dates)
  • Allowing you to make notes of calls or other activities associated with the account
  • Automatically keeping track of any activities generated by the system (this will eventually include direct marketing initiatives)
  • Allowing you to store virtually any kind of information that will be useful in building a long-term relationship
