PERSONAL OPTIONS
For the most part, you'll find that all the settings in the set personal options are straightforward - you've probably set things like time zones and currency on lots of computers or mobile devices before.
Default pane
As we noted earlier, one of the great advantages of Dynamics CRM is that you can tailor your screen to reflect what you do in a day.
However, the options provided in the dropdown menu for the 'Default Pane' option will depend on your role, so not everyone will see all options.
Synchronization
Most of the personal options for synchronization are related to connecting your Outlook with your CRM account.
Email templates
Depending on your role, you may see one or more email templates pre-loaded in your Options area.
However, you may also create your own, especially if you find yourself sending similar emails on a regular basis. Some examples of email templates might be:
- A follow-up email to a potential client you met
- A thank-you email to a suite owner who is considering placing their property with Premiere
- A pre-arrival email to a new guest
- A reminder email to a client about a specific item
Emails sent through CRM are automatically logged as an activity connected to the contact, account, quote or other item you are working on. Emails from CRM function largely like those from Outlook and will use your normal Premiere email address.
